Sync Test Website to Live Website in ColdFusion Builder 3

We have a Windows 2008 R2 server that we use as the test server and another Windows 2008 R2 server we use for the live server. We would like to make changes to the test server first to make sure everything looks correctly then be able to sync it to the live server with ColdFusion builder 3. What is the best way to go about doing this?
Thanks

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

For editing the file on test server, (I am assuming you have full permissions on the directory strcuture, you could use ftp feature.

Look at http://www.adobe.com/devnet/coldfusion/articles/cfbuilder_ftp_integration.html

For synchronizing the Test server with Production Server, you could be better off with  WinMerge kind of program.

This lets you review the entire directory structure, and decide on which files to be moved.
I use this a lot, as it works are re-assurance/code review before migration.
Of course, it is highly recommended, you back, working production code base, before resync.
I keep dated backup/archive with relevant notes/documents, in case for any reason, you need to roll back old/previous working site.
