Mailbox Migration
Looking for a suggestion and advice on what's the best way to go about moving Public Folders and mailbox migration from one exchange org to the other.
Org1 (local where mailboxes currently site) Exchange 2010 SP2 RU3 (domain1.com)
Org2 (Destination - target) - Exchange 2010 SP3 RU4 (domain2.com)
Number of users 350
Domain (Active directory) - two way trust
Network - MPLS connection between orgs so all networking and VLANs are accessible between the 2 orgs.
I would like to perform this all natively without the use of 3rd party tools. Performing a cross forest mailbox migration and also copying over the public folders into the new org. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
We will stand up exchange servers for the destination along side the local exchange servers. So at the local site we already have exchange servers there but we will add the exchange servers for the destination domain there also in order to make this as seamless as possible. Thanks in advance.
