Devices work with home WiFi but not Work WiFi

My colleague is the principal of a small national school and they have a number of  laptops/PC’s connected to the WiFi.

The WiFi is working correctly school laptops/PC’s in the school have no problem connecting.

The principals WiFi and tablet is working perfectly fine in her home but when she brings her tablet into the school she cannot connect to the school WiFi although she has the correct school WiFi password.

The principal also mentioned that other teachers who bring in Smart Phones also have trouble connecting.

We'd need to know how the Wifi at the school is configured, and some logs if RADIUS is used.
Craibeck is right, but in the meantime, does the SSID (the network name that is broadcast in the school) have any spaces in it? This can cause problems for some devices. My old HTC phone refused WiFi connections if this was the case.
