Visual Studio Minify cshtml views on publish

Hi all,

I want to minify all cshtml views and layouts when my site is published?

Is it possible to do this? web essentials doesn't seem to recognise the cshtml as a file that can be minified?

Thanks in advance,

Matt.

Although It is recommended to externalize JS and CSS in separate files, yet, it can be achieved with custom optimizations:

Imran,

All my js and css are seperate and minified using web essentials and the bundles. Ideally what I would like to do is automate so that only the published files are minifed, or have it so that there are seperate .min.cshtml files only used in the publish

The second link is giving a 404 error?
