Windows Server 2008 Radius server with MySQL ?

Good Morning

I would like to know if it is possible to use Windows Server 2008 and  MySql to to authenticate user credentials for connection attempts. Utsually, AD is the ''DB'' use, but in my case, the users are external partners and I would like to not use AD. I MySql is not possibel, is there any other option ? From what I read, MySql is (with NPS) is used for accounting and logging.

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.
