I have a column that I would like to apply a percentage discount too in excel, I'd like the user to be able to change the percentage discount by simply entering a new number in a cell, say for example today he wants to add a 10% discount to all prices in column D, when he types in the number the new prices in column D now have the discounted price.<br />

also would it be possible for him to change the price in one cell of column D while always keeping the discounted price? Say he says today he feels like the toaster will 300$, he types in 300 in one of the cells in column D, then the 300 gets mutiplied by the discounted number in the other cell?<br />
