Hello,

Does anyone know how to enable the USB port on an ancient IBM 9068-A03 passbook printer?

Thanks,

I was able to figure out how to enable the USB printer port, but I could not get it to print via USB?  Here is the procedure to enable the USB port:
1.  Power down the passbook printer
2.  Press and hold the Start2 button while powering on the printer
3.  When you see 00 displayed, let go of the Start2 button.
4.  Change the number from 00 to 23
     a.  Press the Reject Off button until 2 is displayed on the left
     b.  Press the Start1 button to switch to the right hand number
     c.  Press the Reject Off button until 3 is displayed on the right
5.  Press the Start2 button
6.  Change the number shown to desired connection port
     a.  Serial = 1
     b.  Parallel = 2
     c.  USB = 3
7.  Change the 23 number to 2f (save)
8.  Press the Start2 button
9.  When the "Y" appears, press the Start2 button to save
10.  Press the Start2 button to exit
11.  Restart the passbook printer by powering off then back on

That's it!  I did this and printed a configuration page to confirm the change was saved, but could not get the printer to print a test page.  The computer sees it, but I think the driver (Generic/Text Only) does not work for USB.  I am unable to find a driver for it either.  I have searched and searched to no avail.
