Azure DIRSYNC moving servers

Hi,

I have DIRSYNC  (Windows Azure Active Directory Sync Tool v1.0.7020.0) running successfully in our organisation to sync our AD & password changes to Azure AD (Office 365).

I am needing to relocate this software onto a new server but can't find any information on whether it's just a case of reinstalling and running through the wizard on the new server or something else. (Don't want to mess my current setup and synced passwords.)

It will be on the same domain.

Any ideas?

Cheers
Pete

If you have made any customizations, you can use the tools in the Bin folder to export/reimport them. Otherwise it's really just a case of reinstalling and running the wizard, the synced data will stay synced.

What do you mean by customizations?

Like custom sync rules, filtering, making changes to the attribute flows, etc.

Nope nothing like that.

I'll just the reinstall onto the new server and run the wizard then!

Thank you.
