user needs excel formulas translated from italian to english
Hey there,
Several users are needing to translate excel formulas from italian to english. The file is originally made in english but users' pcs are all in foreign languages.
It's easy to change the pc to a language but it's converting the formulas as well, so they need to be english again.
Would google translator do this? i'm hesitant to spend 39.00 dollars unless it's defiantely or another free solution ?
thanks,
Metalfubar!

Why do you need this.
Excel automatically change formulas to local language.
Excel automatically change formulas to local language.
That is you type in your localized formulas, and they will get displayed in the current language. You only need to care if formulas are assembled from strings, like in VBA.
Or if you have formulas setting date and time formats.
The format string is not translated when the workbook is opened in another language.

You could have VBA doing that ^^^ on demand, e.g. before saving.

Then add English and set Excel to display in English?
I doubt that Google Translate will do the job.
