Unable to close Word 2013

Did an install of Word 2013 on a users computer, everything works fine other than the fact you cannot close the app without doing a close program off task bar. I can open and close but clicking on the x on top right does not work, nor does clicking on the top left, there is listed minimize maximize etc but close is grayed out and there is no exit option when clicking on file and selecting close document

Have you tried with another user session ? It is working on thi ather session ?
If Yes > it is the same problem; it's probably an OS problem.... so you have to correct it (maybe with OS reinstall).
If No > delete the user session and recreate it
