new mail host transfer emails

moving domain to new host.  no cpanel on current host.  several users only use webmail or their phone to check email and don't use outlook or thunderbird.  what is the easiest way to save all their old emails and contacts when we move to new host?  thanks

If you are using Web mail then you are going to need to setup a client i.e. Outlook and then configure them to connect to the servers Web Mail account using either POP or IMAP. From there you will then be able to create a PST for all of the Web Mail.

This is the only method while using Web Mail unless the host has a built-in feature that does this within the Web Mail itself.

this really all depends on the Email Platform you are talking about and also the migration path. The one method that can be used across all (most) platforms is exporting PST's and importing them into the new Email system.

there is no pst or exchange server.  it is webmail hosted now and most users check mail via website on pc or phone.  those that have outlook will have no problem, its the others we are concerned about.  thanks
