Cisco Ping Request

Hello Experts,

Can someone let me know how to send a ping from a router with 500 Kbps, Delay of ~100ms and loss of 0.5% ?

Hi,

In Cisco IOS, you need to enter the command ping and enter

Then you will be prompted for more option, you have to fill the IP and then choose extended mode and continue the parameters you need.

Using the Extended ping and Extended traceroute Commands

You can't specify the bandwidth, delay or loss in a ping.  Those are results.

You can specify packet size and timeout though.
