You will be looking a long time if you don't switch to an sftp or ftps server. I can guarantee that is the only way to implement ssl on you to server which runs on port 21.

Well port 21 is likely related to an FTP service you are running and they essentially are recommending you run an SFTP or FTPS service instead for the increased security they offer.  You likely need to replace your FTP server product to allow for that unless the one you are running now also supports either SFTP or FTPS.

Sure, and thank you but as said the security company that carries out the scan have said if we apply our ssl certificate to port 21 this will satisfy their requirements. so i was looking for instructions on how to do this. Thank you
