OneDrive not syncing

I've been using SkyDrive/OneDrive for a few years and never had any syncing problems. Now I've got a black exclamation mark on a yellow triangle on my OneDrive "Documents" folder. I can follow this warning down through my folders to see what's not syncing but I don't seem to be able to fix it. I've tried Microsoft Answer Desk. They told me what to do and said if it didn't fix the problem to do a Clean Boot and gave me a link to instructions on how to do this. I have twice gone through this but at the end when I click OK as instructed I just get the timer and the "Not responding" message in the System Configuration window. Any suggestions please?

start with the troubleshooter tool, it fixes most things
http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-8/onedrive-troubleshooter

next would be do delete the local cache folders

It looks like it reset, that usually means a reboot and then see what the app says

The app still shows the warning 1234It seems the only way to get rid of the warning sign is to slightly change its name. Weird!

I mean change the individual file name.

The problem files seem to be almost duplications created when I'm given the option to save a new copy or overwrite existing. I found each one and deleted, changed file name or just opened and closed the file and eventually got rid of the yellow triangle warning everywhere except on the OneDrive icon in the system tray. 24 files fail to sync. See attachments System Tray Onedrive icon 1System Tray Onedrive icon 2System Tray Onedrive icon 3 Then it started to sync but it stays at 0% done.
