How do I extract a value that is between other text in Excel and have it display in another cell.

Hi,

I exported emails from outlook to an excel file. I want to pull a specific value such as INC08110011 from each cell in column A and display it in column B. The INCxxxxxxxx can be between other text so that is my dilemma.

Column A                                                 Column B
Look into Ticket INC08110011                 INC08110011
check INC08120011 today                       INC08120011  


Above is what I want done extract just the INCxxxxxxxx from column A and display it in column B

You can apply this formula in B1

=MID(A1,SEARCH("INC",A1,1),11)

and simply drag this..This will give you the ticketnumber as answer what you are looking for...
