How to move document sets and other documents from one library to another library

I have Source library A where all document sets and other documents (like word, excel) etc are there. I want to move all of them to Source library B with versioning and workflow status columns. I have document set content type in source A and document set in source library B.

I want to use powershell as the option to iterate through library and move them to source B. I need examples on this.

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

I suggest you invest in Metalogix ControlPoint as it can assist in reorganizing SharePoint environment.

My company won't invest in third party tool. My only choice is powershell or secondary choice c# but my first preference is powershell

I tried from this link and it is throwing me error, don't know why and new to powershell. Also I want to get all docsets not just one along with other files. Kind of looping but don't know how

I know you said you wanted to user PowerShell, but ShareGate offers a fully functional 15 day trial that would do the job for you.

Hope that helps
