freeview box advice

hi I bought myself a cheap £10.00 sterling freeview box but it appears to be loosing its sync on some channels even after rescanning channels or setting back to factory.

q1.  I wanted to know if there are any better type freeview boxes that may even give more channels than I currently get aswell as maybe connecting to the internet with a cable  ?

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

I'm near enough the border to pick up good a Freeview signal from Northern Ireland.
I have an oldish Humax Freeview box with a built-in hard-disk.
It won't pick up the latest HD channels. (The next one I buy will have this capability)

Get one with a twin tuner so you can record one program while watching another. ( Freeview+ )
The recording capability will allow you to skip through the adverts.
The bigger the hard disk the better.
Make sure it has full HD capability. (DVB-T2 Standard)
