The performance counter explain text string value in the registry is not formatted correctly
The performance counter explain text string value in the registry is not formatted correctly. The malformed string is . The first DWORD in the Data section contains the index value to the malformed string while the second and third DWORDs in the Data section contain the last valid index values.
This shows up every day on this Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit Dell Inspiron 660.
Please help us understand and fix this. Is it a registry fix?

This computer has had many runs on removals, using
TDSSKiller: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/tdsskiller/
RogueKiller: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/roguekiller/
AdwCleaner: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/adwcleaner/
as well as malwarebytes ... no further problems found, including the updated McAfee Total Protection
These errors are consistently showing up in Event log, under administrative events.

Downloaded and installed ccleaner it made no difference the issues remain anything else?
Did you run the registry cleaner portion?

Yes, Randy. Ran it several times; it removed some items but the problems persist. It did remove some items, and since that time no additional "critical"items have been posted.
I will close this with gratitude since I'll not be with this system again for a week or more. She then will be running her things as normally she does and I'll reinspect the logs and repost, if needed.
