Restoring SCCM 2012 primary site

I have an sccm environment that consist of a single primary site server and some DP's.
Roles:
end point protection
application catalog
asset intelligence
component server
distribution point
management point
reporting services
site DB server
site server
site system

I need to put together a plan for if this server crashed or whatever.

I read some from this link http://blogs.technet.com/b/breben/archive/2012/03/03/what-are-the-high-availability-options-for-configmgr-2012.aspx   on the dister recovery of sccm 2012.

But I wanted to get some real word advise from someone who might have preformed this.

What I gather is that if I needed to preform this, I woudl need to:

Build a new vm or physical system with the same patches as the original primary server.
Install SQL if it was local on the other server and restore the sql db.
Restore the sccm site server backup.

This is were I get a little confused. I know during the restore I need to enter int he same FQDN and other info. But what else really needs to be done to bring the site back up?

Thanks for any info.
