summary task to add all previous tasks under it in addition to the automatic single subtask

Hi

I had some tasks in MS Project Management 2010 that were created prior to me creating a summary task. Now I want the summary task to add all the time for those previous tasks in addition to the automatic single task  the summary task created. How can I get that done?

Thanks

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Project assumes tasks are run in parallel, unless the dependency is set. Subtasks need to be chained (dependency of previous task set) in order for the total time to be calculated at the main task.

Move the individual tasks under the summary task and indent until they become part of the summary task
