Can you recommend a workstation for Solidworks?

We need to run Solidworks for 3D machine design. Can you recommend a workstation for this purpose? Currently I may go HP Z420 with 16G RAM and Win7 Pro. The graphic card is HP SB NVIDIA QUADRO K4000 3GB GRAPH.
Is it good enough?

It should be fine, one option of low cost/impact deals with ramping up the installed memory to 64GB.

Consulting minimum requirements for the application will go a long way in helping you determine whether ...

I.e. Too close to the minimum requirements will mean as your design increase in complexity you might have to upgrade too early, though you should not go for top of the line system as you would be paying an unnecessary premium.

Here is a link from their site that includes info as well as a link for running a benchmarking test to see whether the HW at hand meets their comparative stats.

I'd suggest a look at Dell Precision Workstations.  Our Market Trading system used by our Spot Contract people must digest massive amounts of data to remain competitive (90- seconds to crunch and decide on approx. 4 gig of data).  We tested a number of brands but the Precisions were simply amazing
