Changing HDD to SSD on Imac 27inch 2010 model. Trying to find the right adapter (caddy) to fit the SSD into?

hi guys

I'm doing an in-house upgrade of our Imacs. And I'm taking out the hard drive to replace with an SSD. The issue I'm having is fitting the actual SSD hard drive nicely as I don't have the equipment. So I'm assuming I will need some sort of caddy/adapter.

Will something like this work?

You have the right adapter.     If you're mounting a 2.5 inch SSD into a 3.5 inch drive bay, then you have it right.

According to the specs and this image, that iMac does use a 3.5 inch drive.

Also, have a look at this iFixit page which tells you how to add a second drive to the iMac, instead of replacing the original:
