Lg watch r

I have a lg watch r and for the life of me can't figure out what is draining the battery.  I work out with it with endomondo and also use facer.  I have tried ambient mode and also stay off mode. I have brightness set to 2 what could be going on.  I have lollipop loaded on the watch. Is there a way to find out what is hogging battery?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

There are a few things you can try to improve the battery life of your smartwatch:
Lower your screen brightness (this can dramatically improve your battery life)
Turn off your 'always-on screen' setting. This turn the screen off when you aren't actively using it, this shouldn't affect your endomondo
Turn off unused notifications. This can stop the screen and vibration motor from draining your battery. This is probably what kills your battery the most

Hope this helps!

Did you buy your watch in recent months?
Battery life is a problem with all smart watches. But fortunately the LG Watch 4 has a 410mAh which is about 30% more than for example a Motorola watch.

You should be getting about two days out of a charge. Are you?

Notifications seem to be big in killing battery charge.
Read  these tips for android wearables though you may not have android. The same tips can apply.

The G Watch R then, delivers better battery performance over its rounded Motorola rival as well as the square faced options, but don't get too excited. I found that the G Watch R could last two days on a single charge, but no longer than that.

I'm in the market for an upcoming Apple watch and I had looked around about battery life and charging and then happened to see your question and remembered some articles I had read on your subject. So I passed them on to you.
