recover emails from exchange 2007 server

Hi Experts,

Need your help to recover some mails from exchange 2007 server.

1. clients need some emails from a 2 years old backup, which we have kept. :)

2.  I used backupassists 7.4 for the system image backup of the system.

3.  used a windows 7 systems and successfully restored the whole system, with c:\program file\microsoft\exchange server\ folder containing Bin, exchangeoab, mailbox and all other folders.

4.  what is the best suggestion to retrieve a user's email folder, so i can recover the emails or all emails for that user.

Thanks in advance.

Unless you have an Exchange aware backup software which can auto-import them back into the origainal mailboxes, I would suggest that you export the mailboxes to a PST file and import the PST files back into the mailboxes.

I would also recommend using Kernel Data Recovery for Exchange.
