Sql Server 2008 r2 Reports

We are running a report that is generating the following error:

An error has occurred during report processing(rsProcessingaborted) . can not read the next data row for the dataset (dataset name) (rserrorreadingnextdataflow)

If we run this report with less records selection (1 month instead 4 month) the report runs, but  when we run it for longer -4 month) it generate the error above.

Alos when we ran it from the actual report server:
we got error:

an error ocurred within the report server database. this may be due to a connection failure, timeout, or low disk condition within the database (rsreportserverdatabaseerror)

Sounds like it is time to roll up your sleeves and optimize the query.  If you are unsure of how to do that, post the query here and there should be a lot of help forthcoming.

This is the problem. i am not too familiar with reports. These reports were created by the vendor. I see the .rdl file for the report(file  attached) . The query has a lot of parameters and is very long.

Is it possible to setup a trace, run the report through report server (http://localhost/reports) and get the query with the parameters. I tried but i can't see it in the trace.
