check the VNC server is working or not, which VNC your using?
I've used both Logmein and UltraVNC on multiple Windows 7 PCs without issue.

As omaheshwar wrote, what specific version of VNC are you using? Both program name (UltraVNC, RealVNC, etc.) and version number.

What is the error you're getting? Does it say "can't connect," "can't find server," "wrong password"?
