Anti Spam Anti Virus for Exchange

In the past I used GFI mail essentials.  It was an ok product.  I have exchange 2013 and just wanted to see if anyone had any thoughts about the latest GFI product or might want to recommend any other.

I use Barracuda SPAM filter. I used to use ORF but, in my opinion, the Barracuda product works much better and can actually hold email for a few days if you have issues with Exchange.

Making Bulk Changes to Active Directory

Watch this video to see how easy it is to make mass changes to Active Directory from an external text file without using complicated scripts.

We've also used GFI Mail Essentials. We changed over all our clients a couple of years ago to their cloud service, now call "ControlNow."  We've been very pleased with it in terms of spam control, it includes antivirus also (although we still use on-prem antivirus as well), and I think it's pretty reasonably priced. But best of all (IMO), it includes continuity services, so that if your Exchange server or Internet connection go down, the mail will be queued in the cloud and then will be automatically delivered when your server or connection comes back up.  Users can manage their own quarantined email, white lists, etc.,  and can access their queued mail online from anywhere if the on-prem server or Internet connection does go down.

I have 92 mailboxes.  GFI wants about $20 per mailbox for their unified product, and $10 every year thereafter.
ORF looks about the same.  Funny GFI didn't tell me anything about the mail queuing when I spoke with them....

That is odd, but their website clearly shows it as part of the ControlNow Email package:

ORF was 12 per mailbox for my site

Found them to be the best price

There was no question. The OP asked for thoughts and recommendations which is what each expert who replied gave. The points should certainly be allocated.

Agree with AKB

If you are asking for are recommendations and we give you one then you should be responsible to do the correct thing.

If you had a question then we would give you the best answer we can.

I recommended GFI, although the poster did not say whether he went with the online or onsite solution, or a combination. Others had other recommendations, all of which were valid. It seems fair that the points should be split between those who provided a reasonable suggestion.

No other solution resolved it.  Don't care about points, remove them if you want.
