I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

The patches are downloaded from the machine where you run the console from.

Can you surf using IE on that machine?

Please upload patchdownloader.log  It will be in %temp% folder

Open this location

I can open it here. Try opening it on your home PC (Hopefully with less restrictions). It should download to a  2.4 MB file.

Then try downloading this on the client network. If this does not download then raise this with firewall team.

Also delete all the files in C:\Users\SVC_SC~1\AppData\Local\Temp
