ASA 5515x Config\Licensing Question

Hello,

I have 2 ASA 5515xs currently running in active/active failover (though I thought the setup was active/standby when it was configured).

I am running:
ASDM version 7.2 (1)
ASA version:  9.1(5)

The issue I am seeing is that when the primary unit fails over to the secondary unit - the secondary until will not accept any anyconnect connections.

I do have a 100 user Security Plus license,   I am showing 100 Anyconnect Premium peers on the primary and 2 Anyconnect premium peers on the secondary.     I thought that after version 8.3 the secondary unit should inherit the primary licensing and allow anyconnect connections?  Is this correct?

My question is....is the reason that the secondary is not accepting anyconnect connections because the failover is active/active and not active/standby?

Any help that you can provide would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks so much!!

I believe that you are correct, because in an active active configuration both devices could accept connections, for a total of 200 possible VPN connections. Try converting to active passive.
