connecting a network
I was wondering if someone could direct me to instructions or an article on how to setup a windows network in an office step by step. Or maybe someone at EE could write how to do this the simplest way. Here is the scenario. I have a windows 2008 server. I have an office that is cabled throughout for the network. I have a router in a rack from the ISP. I have a 48 port switch in the rack as well.
If you don't have a domain yet and you plan on having one, make sure to name it something.domain.com and own the top level domain.com (or net or org or whatever)
I usually use i.domain.com or corp. or cityname.
This will save a ton of headaches down the road.

This is what I needed to get started. Thanks! If I have more questions I will ask. I just needed the blueprint of major concepts and what order they should be done in.
