Anyone know why I get an error message when using VMware Horizon Client, on Windows 8? "EVR.DLL" is missing?

Search the system for evr.dll and try re registering?

regsvr32 driveletter:\directory\evr.dll

If it's in system32, you may try moving it to syswow64 and re-registering it.

Do you have windows media player installed or possibly disabled by your admin via GPO?
