MS Word - Vertical centering of pictures within a table

Anthony Lucia
Last Modified: 2015-04-03
I created a table with 1 row and two columns

In the first column I put a picture (or rather an icon), and in the second column I put text describing what the picture represents.  This provided a good way to display the data.

The only problem is that the picture is placed at the top of the column vertically, and I need it placed at the middle of the column.

How can I center the picture vertically in the middle of the column?
