IIS and PHP windows 7

I have installed php using the link below:

https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/hh994592.aspx

I used the manual install
I have mysql already installed
When I try to rin a phpinfo.php file, I get the following error:

HTTP Error 500.24 - Internal Server Error
An ASP.NET setting has been detected that does not apply in Integrated managed pipeline mode.

I have tried setting identity to false

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

The page you're linking to is for IIS8 on Server 2012.  Windows 7 uses IIS7.5.  I don't know how important the difference is.  This page and program may be useful to you:  http://phpmanager.codeplex.com/wikipage?title=Managing%20PHP%20installations%20with%20PHP%20Manager%20user%20interface

I managed to get rid of the original message by disabling ASP net impersonation
I now get the following when trying to run PHP info:
http error 500.00
c:\php\php-cgi.exe - the fast cgi process exited unexpectedly

Did you install FastCGI for IIS?  http://www.iis.net/downloads/microsoft/fastcgi-for-iis  This is separate from the PHP fast cgi but they are supposed to work together.

When I installed the IIS on the windows 7 I used the Programs and  features - Turn windows features onor off and selected the CGI as a component

One thing:
No matter which version of PHP I use as the fast-cgi.exe, I get the same error message:

http error 500.00
c:\php\php-cgi.exe - the fast cgi process exited unexpectedly

It looks as if it is linkied to FastCGI module in IIS being the common problem?

I have managed to solve this:
http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30679#

I installed the 32 and 64 bit versions
Now the php extension works

Thanks very for your input - it made me do some more indepth research
What really showed the problem was running the following in the command prompt:

c:\php\php-cgi.exe c:\inetpub\wwwroot\phpinfo.php
This told me that the "MSVCR110.dll" was mising

Good find on your part.  I'm still running XP so I may not have encountered that exact problem.  I think the VC redistribution I have is based on VS2009 or something.  Along the way, I've had to install more than one version.
