Resize panels in Windows Forms using Visual Basic

Please Help
I have an application that has is set to a standard size without using the maximize or minimize button. My requirements is to enable to maximize button. So I clicked on the "anchor" button on each item so that it would maximize with the form but here is what happened
   1) Only the buttons Maximized
   2) the Template did not maximize

So the question is, How do I get the whole form to maximize

each and every control needs its Anchor property to be set correctly.

Yes I agree and it did expand the buttons but did not expand the panel ( because the panel does not have anchor properties) therefore it did not expand the column headings in the template

in VB.Net, Panels do have the Anchor property. Are we talking the same thing?

The Panel sizing can also be controlled through the Dock property. If the Panel has to be placed on one of the borders, Dock is often more interesting than Anchor.
