How to remove SCOM 2007 R2 infrastructure?

Hi,

We have already upgraded our SCOM 2007 R2 environment side by side to SCOM 2012 R2. I have also upgraded my all clients to SCOM 2012 R2 as well. Now our SCOM 2012 R2 is in production and clients are looking for both 2007 and 2012 servers.

How can I remove/uninstall SCOM 2007 from our environment gracefully so the client should point to SCOM 2012 R2 servers only?

Hi VB,

Thanks for the response. I have seen this article before but I am not sure if agents will stop looking for old SCOM or not. Do you have any idea?
VB ITSSpecialist ConsultantCommented:
Once you point the agents to the new management server(s) then you should be able to gracefully uninstall the old SCOM infrastructure. This should then prevent the agents from seeing the old SCOM servers going forward.

The article I posted above contains links which will show you how to do this.
