At the end, my management allowed us to use w2k8 32-bit, and as for the iscsi targets, we are using kernsafe with free version. It works perfectly.

This is using MS Windows 2003 R2 32-bit standard server on a quite old hardware. This server is currently not in use due to the hardware. We are planning to redeploy it as a storage server to provide few iSCSI targets using its local hard disks. How can I do it?<br />

How to setup iSCSI Target on W2K3 server?

Windows Server 2003 was based on Windows XP and was released in four editions: Web, Standard, Enterprise and Datacenter. It also had derivative versions for clusters, storage and Microsoft’s Small Business Server. Important upgrades included integrating Internet Information Services (IIS), improvements to Active Directory (AD) and Group Policy (GP), and the migration to Automated System Recovery (ASR).
