"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

The command took after I set the permissions.....  But now my question is inside the "Configure Synchronization Settings" do I select "Use Sharepoint Profile Sync" or " Use Sharepoint AD Import"?

User Profile Sync Service will only start if I choose the first option, not with AD Import.  See Attached.  Which is correct?Error
I chose the first option, started the service, and still could not see my photo in the Sharepoint Site.

The AD import option does not automatically synchronize photos from Active Directory to SharePoint Server 2013. If you need to import photos you must use profile synchronization. For more information, see https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/jj219646.aspx

After starting the service, do iisreset. And then start full profile sync.
