VB.net DataGridView independent of TabControl

On my VB.net task pane I had just a DataGridView, then realised I needed more space so introduced a TabControl
I want the DataGridView to only appear on page 1 of the TabControl but it seems to be independent of it (appearing on all pages)
How do I attach the the DataGridView to the TabControl

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

You may not be able to attach it but you can place it in the Tabs, load the data and make it visible whenever you want. I have done a similiar app like this long back.

But you can do this way by enabling/disabling it in the "TabPageSelected" event.
