Office 2010 will not open word, excel attachment files over remote desktop
Ok here is my setup
Server - Server 2012
Client A - Windows 8.1
Ok my Client would access her remote desktop to the Server with no issues then they would open Outlook 2010 in the remote session to view there emails(gmail) which works ok, however any emails with word attachments they try to view it would just come up with the following message.....
'word experienced an error trying to open the file try these suggestions'
this would also error with Excel.
Only two of them remote to the Server like this and both have the same issue.
Not sure if this will help but if they try to open a pdf attachment it would come up with the following message
'adobe reader cannot open in protected mode due to an incompatibility with system config'
This is a new system as they were on Server 2003 and Office 2007 before.
Thanks
