Where can I download the NIC drivers not wireless for this laptop Gateway NV57H57u. I tried a few places and Gateway did not have what I needed as well. This is for a windows 7 OS. I need the NIC drivers to complete the install.

Is the OS 32bit or 64bit?

Once provided I can give you the link to the NIC driver.
Yours is Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit using Intel NIC

You can also download from Intel:
Maybe I'm missing something, but according to Gateway, the LAN is a Broadcom device and the driver is here:

If that does not work, then you should go into device manager, select the LAN and provide the PCI VEN number so we can find it.

None worked. I have tried a the above and none work? It is Intel?
Try the drivers i've put in my Onedrive. Fingers crossed one of them will be the one you need.

No wonder Gateway is gone. What a cluster XXXX. Thanks to all. I finally got it loaded. I had to update the BIOS and then download the driver and it worked fine. Thanks to you all.
Open device manager. Double click on the NIC entry.  On the window that opens, select the "Details" tab. In the dropdown, select Hardware IDs. Copy the entire PCI\VEN string there and paste it here. Based on that, I can determine exactly what you have.
Glad you got it worked out. Happy to have helped.
Hi Guys,

I am having the same issue. I mistakenly deleted one of the driver sys files and now I need to re-install the NIC driver. I searched on gateway's website and no success. What process did you use to update the BIOS and download the driver?

Thanks in advance
Sorry, forgot to mention. I have the same laptop Gateway NV57H57u, i5 processor, dual-core running Windows 7 ultimate, OS is 64 bit.
