Office365 Exchange and Appriver Spam filter

We have Office 365 E3 and still use Appriver for Spam filtering. Users are stating that spam is getting through. My question is do I need to configure the Exchange Online server with an Inbound connector for Appriver's IP address. ( Like and on site server?) Will this then only allow email from them to come through and block anyone else connecting to the server?

I have contacted Appriver several times but they do not have any documentation and can not provide any assistance.

Thanks!

I have found the answer. I had to log in to the Admin side of an Office 365 account, click on Exchange, Connectors, Mail Flow and add one there. I choose from partner to Office 365 and required TLS. I then added all the Appriver Server address. Also had to contact Appriver and they moved me to a different spam server called TLSXX. Email is now flowing.

I don't think you have hybrid solution. Better switch over to EOP.

I do not have a hybrid solution, nor EOP. We use Office365 E3 Plan, is there a way to setup that cloud server to only accept mail from Appriver?

Why you want to use Appriver. When you have EOP already provided by MS. Without setting up hybrid, I don't see any other way to do it. In hybrid model, you can setup email route from on-premises to Office 365. Just need to point mx record to your hybrid server.
