Changing regional Settings for new accounts

Hello EE,

i want to create a reg file or a script where only the input language (Keyboard layout) in the welcome screen and windows is changed for all users, inclusive new accounts.

my regfile so far changes the welcome screen and the current user but the "New user accounts" checkmark and settings are still not affected, do you have any suggestions?

My regfile so far:

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Keyboard Layout\Preload]
"1"="00000409"

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Keyboard Layout\Preload]
"1"="00000409"

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SYSTEM\Input\]
CurLang="0409"

en-us is the standard default for windows default installation using non regionalized install media. A new user gets the settings from the default profile.

REG LOAD HKU\DefaultUser %SystemDrive%\Users\Default\NTUSER.DAT
REG ADD HKU\DefaultUser\Software\KeyName /v ValueName /d Data /t REG_SZ /f
REG UNLOAD HKU\DefaultUser

Hello, i just solved it to run a batch using the regfiles for the current language changing at startup and a batch with the regfile which needs admin permissions which changes  the login screen langauge.

current langauge is changed as autorun batch at startup and the other one is setup in gpedit to run when computer starts.

the reason is that noone could provide a solution how to fix the problem that i can't change the login language for new accounts, i've just created my own workaround to set via a script the current and welcome screen language, its not perfect but it works without admin permissions and any user intervention.
