We have installed the free community edition sugar crm at www.wacohelp.com/sugarcrm and are now trying to find a free telephony solution that lets us log calls with our platform. We of'course could host the recordings in S3 buckets or something like that. Assistance is greatly appreciated.

Interesting.

1. SUGAR CRM COMMUNITY EDITION - We found out that we could host the SugarCRM community edition ourselves have two-way real-time synchronization with our Google contacts without a monthly fee.

2. CALL CENTRIC (VOIP Provider) - We found out that any SIP provider will work. We get our lowest rate from callcentric.com.

3. XLITE or Zopier (softphone) - We found out that XLite or Zopier are dialers and no monthly fee is required. These are both industry leaders and are both very popular softphone dialer packages.

4. INTEGRATION - Now we need to figure out if we can get the integration we need without a monthly fee.

It turns out that MyCRM is the only free option for community edition and it is not in English by default http://www.mycrm.de/trial-registration/ My guess is that any support would be very limited.

Still looking for other options. Voicent and Contivo are very expensive solutions.
