Windows 2008 Domain Creation

Hello Experts,

I'm real novice when it comes to Windows Server,

Can someone please show me how to create a domain?

I'm running Windows 2008 Standard.

Do a test lab and learn things. You should read /study a lot about, DNS, Active Directory management/trouble shooting, Group policies etc.. Referring a good book or getting trained are the best options too.

Hello Guys,

I followed your instructions and everything appears to going ok. However, I can no longer RDP into the server.

Remote Desktop is enabled as you can see, but RDP wont work.

There has to be something blocking access... but I have disable the firewall ....

unless you changed the port it should be port 3389

The firewall is completely disabled.

David, I changed the port to 3393.

The thing is, I could RDP to the server before taking your suggestions
