How to summarize data from one tab to another tab

On Sheet 1 I have data starting in cell A1 and it goes down pretty far. On Sheet 2, I am trying to figure out how to summarize the data that is on Sheet 1, starting in cell A1. This isn't the sum function, its more like deleting the duplicates, then starting that new list on Sheet 2, A1. For example, if I have starting in Sheet 1, A1 these numbers:

15561
15561
15561
5885
5885
1358
1358
1358

On Sheet 2, starting in cell A1, I would it to look like this:
15561
5885
1358

Is there a formula that can do that? Thanks!

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

You could create a pivot table to summarise the unique items.

Alternatively, there is the Remove Duplicates wizard that can be used.

Thanks Rob. The remote duplicates won't work because I need it to automatically move. I tried the pivot but the only issue with that is I have to refresh it every time. I was hoping there was a way that it would just populate itself when I open the spreadsheet like a formula would. That way I can also put the data in a table. I can't put a pivot in a table.

Will there be other data copied to sheet2 as well?

Might be able to use the advanced filter feature to create the new table on sheet2.

Yes. Along side the data on Sheet 2, there is data in columns 2-15. Some of that data is a vlookup to the A column.

Is it just unique values from column A on sheet1 that you need to copy or is there more coming from sheet1?

Pivot table can be set to refresh automatically.

It is just the unique values on Sheet 1, Column A. Nothing else from Sheet 1 will go to Sheet 2.

It would be good if you could upload a sample file with the source data sheet and the results, particularly what you are wanting to do with the results.
