I have a friend that I am helping to troubleshoot the following issue - she has a Windows 7 PC and all is working fine except when has IE open (also happens in Google Chrome &amp;&nbsp;Firefox) - after a period of inactivity - usually exceeding 15-20 minutes, she returns to her PC to find that IE is frozen -- my understanding is she reboots to get it working again. &nbsp;She is using a wired connection to her modem. &nbsp;I don't think her other applications freeze (only her internet connection) - so even though IE is frozen, she can still open Word or Excel for example. &nbsp;Any insight you could provide would be appreciated. &nbsp;Thank you.

Chrome OS is an operating system based on the Linux kernel and designed to work with web applications and installed applications. Initially, Chrome OS was almost a pure web thin client operating system, with only a handful of "native" applications, but Google gradually began encouraging developers to create "packaged applications", some of which can work offline.
