computer does not work with dynamic ip . but works with static ip

the computer is joined to a domain. it can browse websites and ping only on static ip address. we cannot browse on the computer by dynamic  i.p. address.

Tried to remove it from the domain and join it again. dynamic ip addressing does not work.

Computer OS: Windows 7
Domain Computer : Windows 2012

does the dynamic address have the correct IP settings (especially gateway and subnet mask?)
are there other systems using dynamic address working?
Sounds like you have to flush your DNS cache on the client machine you should be able to run ipconfig /flushdns

On the server you would have to look at the IP that is assigned to it and release  the least on it.

yes i have flushed the dns . deleted the system from DHCP. still no luck?
yes the dynamic address has the correct ip, gateway and subnet mask
even after releasing the lease. the system is still grabbing the same i.p. address as before
how can i release this ip. tried all the above
Did you set up the same IP for static and dynamic IP?
Could you provide the output of ipconfig /all and of the ping command that you are trying?  That might assist with troubleshooting here.

Can it ping local addresses when on a static IP?

Are you pinging by name or by IP address?  Try: ping 4.2.2.2
different ip address for static ip. when i try to ping it to 4.2.2.2. i get a error back '''' request timed out.

i tried to ping by name and ip address .. still the same issue.

it seems that the dynamic i.p. address even after releasing it from the domain.. is still stuck up with the computer. how to release it?
What happens when you ping something local (by IP address), such as the Default Gateway or the domain server?

I'm trying to identify if this is a network connectivity problem or if it is a problem of accessing the internet.
i checked it out now. i cannot ping to the default gateway or the domain server. request timed out error....
it is able to ping to the dafult gateway or the domain server for few seconds .. then again it drops off.
You get rid of the DHCP IP with ipconfig /release. But that does not warrant you'll not get the same again, unless you exclude/reserve the old IP to prohibit it's usage.
Sounds like the IP address is already in use by someone else, but then you should get a popup telling you about the conflict.
no popup about any conflict
deleted the pc from the dhcp. still the pc goes and grabs the same i.p. address as before.
Back to basics: ipconfig /all and ping results while static and the same while using DHCP please?
(Add to Cliff's request): when configured as static, please ping the old (DHCP) address and post the results.

The requested output of ipconfig /all and pinging old IP address when static may have been very helpful at reaching an answer without having to reload!
