Colabnet Subversion - move repository

We need to move the CSVN repository from a 32 bit server to a 64 bit server.  I would like to know the proper setups in order to move it properly.  Collabnet Subversion Edge 1.3.1.  It is installed on the C: \CSVN

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

You must dump repositories to text files (Windows) or pipe over network (Linux) to load in new version of SVN (using respective command line tools for each version)
You are moving roughly from SVN 1.6 and SVN 1.8 so there are two data damaging bugs possible:
1) Working copies metadata may contain files that do not match internal checksums
2) Server dump may contain broken revision properties that must either be corrected manually or edited in flight in dump file

Their documentation is silent on how users are stored. Must be same authz file as in normal subversion.

If we just want to start over fresh then install svn and save to the repository using the new server address?  Or do we have to have the historical history for it to work properly.  It would be moving to a 64 bit server.

you can rip any range of versions using svnsync into another repository
but normally you do repository clone with dump/load

Do you run windows or unix?
