I want to build a Vsphere 5.5 datacenter in my home lab, which ISO do I download

I am a VCP and 3 years ago I built a home lab Vsphere 5 datacenter. I just upgraded my cert to 5.5 and I want to wipe out my old lab and rebuild a new one using an ESXI 5.5 host. Which ISO do I download. I am looking at Esxi 5.5 image. Esxi 5.5 driver rollup and several others. Which do I download to start? I am assuming  it will be like last time. I will build my Esxi host and download the vsphere client on my laptop, then point to the IP of the Esxi host. I am sure I will get the hang of it once I am back in, but need to review . All advice is welcome

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

I just did this recently. I first used the ESXi 5.5up2 install ISO image and later redid the install using the corresponding DELL-supplied version (I have a Dell R210).

The general advice is, if you have a system where a vendor-supplied version of ESXi is available, use that in preference to the stock ISO from VMware.

If you point your web browser at the ESXi host, it will offer a download link for the corresponding vSphere client and you'll get some warnings that some functionality is only available with the vSphere Web client.

If you are VCP 5.5, why not build a 6.0 lab!

The filename you want is always called...VMware-VMvisor-Installer

e.g. this is the file name for ESXi 5.5 Update 2d ISO image (Includes VMware Tools)

VMware-VMvisor-Installer-201501001-2403361.x86_64.iso

URL - https://my.vmware.com/web/vmware/details?downloadGroup=ESXI55U2&productId=353&rPId=7709

6.0 is called

ESXi ISO image (Includes VMware Tools)

 VMware-VMvisor-Installer-6.0.0-2494585.x86_64.iso

URL - https://my.vmware.com/web/vmware/details?downloadGroup=ESXI600&productId=491&rPId=7501

You can also use AutoLab...see my EE Article

HOW TO: Set up a lab environment for vSAN using VMware Workstation

You can also use AutoLab with ESXi, to created a nested Cluster.
