Fileupload control do not show the complete path in google chrome
Hi Experts,
I have file upload control in my program. When I select a path, google chrome does not show the complete path. It shows only the file name. How can I get the complete path. I am using vb.net and asp.net.

Standard file uploads do not send the path to the server even if it shows in other browsers. They only send the filename.

What can I do to get the file path so that I can read the file and save it into the database in binary format.

As mentioned above, the client path is never revealed in all current browsers. It will never appear (it was in older IE versions), as this is seen as a security measure.
